Computational:
Hardware
High Speed fiber optic network.State-of-the-art Sun and HP workstations form the core of the computational facilities. Additional terminals and data communication lines are available for network connection with access to nationwide supercomputer sites.
Software
The structural design and analysis software that can be employed include ANSYS, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, COSMOS\M (general pupose finite element analysis software), ADAMS, DADS (dynamic system analysis), FIDAP (wind tunnel simulation), Unigraphics, PATRAN, I-DEAS MS, PROSTAR and Pro/Engineer (geometric modeling and mesh generation).
